Hassan Abbasi has a dream
--a helicopter doing an arabesque in cloudy skies to avoid being shot at from the ground. On board are the last of the "fleeing Americans," forced out of the Dar al-Islam (The Abode of Islam) by "the Army of Muhammad." Presented by his friends as "The Dr. Kissinger of Islam," Mr. Abbasi is "professor of strategy" at the Islamic Republic's Revolutionary Guard Corps University and, according to Tehran sources, the principal foreign policy voice in President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's new radical administration. abbasi.jpg For the past several weeks Mr. Abbasi has been addressing crowds of Guard and Baseej Mustadafin (Mobilization of the Dispossessed) officers in Tehran with a simple theme: The U.S. does not have the stomach for a long conflict and will soon revert to its traditional policy of "running away," leaving Afghanistan and Iraq, indeed the whole of the Middle East, to be reshaped by Iran and its regional allies. To hear Mr. Abbasi tell it the entire recent history of the U.S. could be narrated with the help of the image of "the last helicopter." 22gialongstreet.gif It was that image in Saigon that concluded the Vietnam War under Gerald Ford. Jimmy Carter had five helicopters fleeing from the Iranian desert, leaving behind the charred corpses of eight American soldiers. Under Ronald Reagan the helicopters carried the corpses of 241 Marines murdered in their sleep in a Hezbollah suicide attack. Under the first President Bush, the helicopter flew from Safwan, in southern Iraq, with Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf aboard, leaving behind Saddam Hussein's generals, who could not believe why they had been allowed live to fight their domestic foes, and America, another day. Bill Clinton's helicopter was a Black Hawk, downed in Mogadishu and delivering 16 American soldiers into the hands of a murderous crowd. According to this theory, President George W. Bush is an "aberration," a leader out of sync with his nation's character and no more than a brief nightmare for those who oppose the creation of an "American Middle East." Messrs. Abbasi and Ahmadinejad have concluded that there will be no helicopter as long as George W. Bush is in the White House. But they believe that whoever succeeds him, Democrat or Republican, will revive the helicopter image to extricate the U.S. from a complex situation that few Americans appear to understand.

An Arab newspaper published in London and Beirut reported that an Iranian intelligence unit has established a center called "The Brigades of the Shahids of the Global Islamic Awakening," controlled by a Revolutionary Guards intelligence officer, Hassan Abbasi. The newspaper has a tape recording of Abbasi when he spoke of Iran's secret plans, which include "a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization." Missile strikes To bring this about, Abbasi said, "There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them." This Revolutionary Guard officer continued by saying, "Iran's missiles are now ready to strike at Western targets, and as soon as the instructions arrive from Ali Khamenei, we will launch our missiles at their cities and installations." From an arab site:Hassan Abbasi, the radical Muslim strategist, who is close to the Revolutionary Guards (Sepah-e Pasdaran) says Islam does not embrace democracy and attacks Khatami for his ideas about the dialogue with the West. He believes Iran should not play the game by the rules of liberal democracies, but by Islamic rules. Hassan Abbasi “America means enemy, and enemy means Satan.” Mehran Riazaty: Iran Analyst Hassan Abbasi was former IRGC (Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps) commander, and currently he is the chief of Iran’s National Security & Strategic research center. He is also Ahmadinejad’s chief strategic counselor. On Feb 17, 06- Aftab news site reported that, Abbasi said

“Our Islamic Revolution is the only Revolution which is directed towards god; therefore, we have to be very attentive to our revolution. He added that “We never dissected the Ayatollah Khomeini’s statement when he called the United States Great Satan.” Abbasi states that “America means enemy, and enemy means Satan.”
Furthermore, Abbasi, in a speech in Iran’s Khaje Nasser University, said a “martyr deals directly with god and sells his soul only to god.” He added “Only certain people deserve to participate in the suicide operations.” Abassi noted that “The members of Lebanon’s Hezbollah are dear, because they only sell their soul to the god.” During Abbasi’s speech a group affiliated to the Headquarters for Commemorating Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement launched a new recruitment drive for suicide bombers, to fight against any attacks by the United States. Abbasi is the architect of the so-called “war preparation plan” currently under way in Iran. On September 2004, he has described Britain as “the mother of all evils”. In his lecture he claimed that the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and the Gulf states were all “children of the same mother: the British Empire.” As for France and Germany, they are “countries in terminal decline”, according to Abbasi.
“Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover,”
he told his audience. Abbasi claims that in a game plan presented to Ahmadinejad, he has concluded that the idea of a major US military attack against Iran is “a bluff.” Our game plan shows that any attempt at imposing an embargo on Iran would push the price of oil to $110 per barrel,” Abbasi said. “And if we were to be subjected to military attack the price could top the $400 mark.” On Feb 17, 06- The commander of the regular Armed Forces, Major General Atta’ollah Salehi, while was attending Navy maneuvers in the southern port city of Bushehr, also said We tell the enemies not to act crazily, but if they do, then they will definitely not go home in one piece. He said that Iran’s military planners had calculated all the methods and points of attack of the enemies. “If our enemies with all their strength thought that they could win against us, they would definitely have [attacked] us. They know better than anyone else that they cannot do such a thing and they cannot do a damn thing”, he added. Armageddon and the Hojjatieh Sect of Shiite Islam A more complete understanding of the issues facing the United States, the EU and Israel, as well as other nations and organizations in the world (such as the UN Security Council and the IAEA) in dealing with Iran must be based upon a more complete assessment of the theological group which has achieved preeminence within the Islamic Republic of Iran. The current President of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad has long been a member of this group, as is his close spiritual advisor Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi. The sect or belief system to which they belong is known as “Hojjatieh”. Background The “Hojjatieh” is widely unknown to most people in the West. I will attempt to address this short coming with this article. The origin of this group begins with its Iranian cleric founder, Ayatollah Mahmud Halabi sometime in the 1950’s. Ayatollah Halabi founded this group as the “Anjoman-e Zedd-e Baha-iyat” which means “The Anti-Baha’i Society”. The agenda of this group at the time was purely proprietary within the realm of Shi’a Islam – that is to say a desire within Iranian Shi’a to oppress or suppress the Islamic Baha’a faith and their potential claims concerning the Islamic al-Mahdi (ie: the Islamic messiah or anointed one). This is a messianic theme heavily borrowed from Judeo-Christian roots with the addition of Mohammedean-Islamic thought and various hadiths. At the time of the Islamic revolution and the over-throw of the Peacock Throne of Shah Reza Pahlavi in Iran in 1979, the “Anjoman” were heavily involved in the revolution led by the formerly exiled Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Anjoman members existed within many different groups within Iranian society and professional disciplines. One student member, the current President of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad, was deeply involved in the hostile takeover of the US Embassy in Tehran. This good political fortune of the Anjoman would not last however. In 1983 Ayatollah Khomeini ordered the group to disband due to one of their basic tenets at the time being opposition to Khomeini’s basis for rule, the “Velayat-e-Faqih”, or rule by clerical jurisprudent, which is roughly akin to the infallibility doctrine found in some Christian beliefs. Khomeini’s primary objection to them was the Anjoman’s view that a purely Islamic government in Iran would delay the arrival of al-Mahdi. As with most of Islam there is a central theme being that the 12th Imam, Abul-Qassem Mohammed, who disappeared in 941 would reappear at the “end of time” and usher in an era of global Islamic justice… the long awaited global Islamic Caliphate. However, the Anjoman were not politically untuned and quickly changed their name to the Arabicized “Hojjatiyya” (Farsi: Hojjatieh) which is the short version of a longer name meaning “Allah’s proof over his creation”. Many of the Hojjatieh were then absorbed by the Iranian Islamic Coalition Society (Jamiyat-e Motalifih-e Islami) where they remained in relative obscurity on the periphery of real power within the regime until very recently. The election of Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad, the former mayor of Tehran, to the presidency of Iran is as much a domestic political power-play as it is a calculated grab for power by the many Hojjatieh adherents within the Iranian government. Their influence was never assessed by outside observers to be strong enough to effect the landslide victory (62% of the vote) of Ahmadi-Nejad over the longtime Iranian government official and ex-president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Current Events Understanding this new Iranian leadership means understanding how Hojjatieh have reformed from their former position regarding an Islamic government in Iran. This is best captured by Ahmadi-Nejad’s spiritual mentor Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi who said, “It doesn’t matter what the people think. The people are ignorant sheep”. Ahmadi-Nejad also evidenced this poltical transformation of Hojjatieh by stating that the main continuing mission of the Iranian revolution is to “pave the way for the reappearance of the 12th Imam… We should define economic, cultural and political policies based upon the policy (Islamic eschatological theology) of Imam Mahdi’s return". This is a Hojjatieh validation of Khomeini’s “Velayat-e-Faqih” or rule by Shi’a clerical jurisprudence, the school of thought of the Iranian revolutionary old guard elite, the so-called “in crowd” of an elite 80 some-odd clerics who dictate Iranian national policy. In other words, Iran is an Islamic dictatorship maintained by a very small circle of Shi’a clerics wielding the absolute power of coercive force of arms. To the Western mind and world-view this realistically equates to Iran being an Islamo-fascist dictatorship in hot pursuit of nuclear weaponry. This brings us to the crux of the current issue of Iran being judged by the IAEA and being sent before the UN Security Council because of their nuclear weapons program. We will now learn why many leaders in the West find the acquisition of nuclear weapons by Iran to be absolutely unthinkable. According to an Iranian expatriate known as Azarmehr, these Hojjatieh holding the reigns of power in Iran “believe he (Imam Mahdi) will reappear again when the world has become full of oppression and tyranny.” Azarhehr goes on to say that the “Hojjatieh… actually believe in the spread of tyranny and oppression” as a means to hasten to the return of the Imam Mahdi. “If you stand in the way of tyranny and oppression then you delay the coming of the Lord of All Ages.” This taken in consideration with the overall context of statements from the Iranian government regarding the existence of Israel, and holocaust denial (Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad) and the Iranian plan for “the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization” is critical to our national survival and preparations for military action against this Iranian regime. The recent crash of an Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps falcon jet in northwestern Iran resulted in the deaths of the elite command corps of Iran’s IRGC. The new IRGC Air Force Commander is Brigadier General Hossein Salami. He is the architect of Iranian asymmetrical warfare doctrine. General Salami is in lock-step with the current Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei (who is ultimately responsible for the ascension of Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad to the presidency) and his Chief Advisor, Hassan Abbasi. Hassan Abassi is the originator of Iranian plans for war with the US, the West and Israel. Both are adherents, along with President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad of the Hojjatieh ideology making them hard-core Shi’a Islamic apocalyptics. Execution of the Iranian War Plan: Attack the US and the UK with massive waves of suicide bombers. These attacks will be followed by massive use of Iranian missile borne WMD. Recruitment to fill the ranks of these suicide bomber brigades began in 2004. The basis is a continuation and modification of the suicide missions launched by thousands of Iranian teenagers across the minefields of the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980's. However, these suicide brigades will not be stepping on mines this time around in a war with western enemies, but carrying explosives strapped to their bodies as they attack CONUS and elsewhere. It has been widely published that Hassan Abbasi is on record as saying: "There are 29 sensitive sites in the US and the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them... Iran's missiles are now ready to strike Western targets, and as soon as the instructions arrive from Ali Khamenei, we will launch our missiles at their cities and installations." These attacks will come against the US and the UK. In fact, they will target the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel because as Abbasi has said these nations "are all the children of the same mother" meaning the United Kingdom. This is part of Abbasi's announced strategic plan created "for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization" as well as the core Hojjatieh desire of “preparing the way of Imam Mahdi” through tyranny and oppression. PST by Tasha Dasha Doo Hassan Abbasi is the director of Iran’s "National Security Doctrine Centre", a research center affiliated to the Passdaran Revolutionary Guards Corps. These days he has gained a popularity that has him in demand by almost everyone in the country, be it religious groups, political groups, student Basij (Iran militia) and the Student Islamic Associations. In an exclusive interview with Rooz, Hassan Abbasi talks about Iran's nuclear file issues. Here are the excerpts. Rooz ®: The most important public debate in Iran today is the country nuclear policy and the problems this has brought about in relations with the US and Europe. How did things get this far? Hassan Abbasi (HA): The West and the US in particular had for long been looking for an excuse to exert pressure on the Islamic Republic. Its worth mentioning that Americans are the Anglo-Saxons who moved from Britain to North America. The Islamic Revolution deeply threatened Western interests and so they initially tried to hit us with the human rights issue. But since we are entirely clean in that, they soon realized they can’t pressure us through that. But they have continued their tactics to overthrow the Islamic regime, and in that light are now using the nuclear issue. R: But would we have not avoided these problems and even attained our rights had we embarked on a wiser policy? HA: You would be right if the other party had good intentions, which is not the case with US. They pursued the goal of overthrowing the Islamic Republic from day one. Furthermore, they are not honest in their talk of democracy and human rights. What kind of democracy are they talking about? Is it the kind where Zionists decide who should rule and who should not? These are the very same people who will not allow the US to take a position against the national interests of Israel. About human rights, let’s not forget that there is still racial discrimination in America today and there are many poor people there. The previous Iranian administration made the mistake of trusting the West. We should have stood firm right from the first day. R: At whatever cost to us? HA: Take note of Imam Hussein’s (2nd Shiite Imam) logo not to heed to aggressors. Especially those that want to control not only Iran, but the whole world. These are the people who want to completely destroy Islam. One should not retreat even an inch vis-à-vis such people. R: So you do not think that we could have given them a little and attained something large in return? HA: They have no sincerity and so we cannot trust them. It is a system that has been trying for 27 years to destroy the most democratic regime in the world. The issue is that if you gave in just an inch, you’d become an American colony. Just look at Kuwait or Saudi Arabia. The other issue is that this is not the only and last demand that the US has or will have from us. In a short time, when things start rolling they will even ask us to officially recognize Israel. Then they will impose their version of human rights on us. The list of their demands will grow. They have no other goal but to eliminate Islam and the Islamic regime. They have culturally and tirelessly worked on our youth and have been successful in some areas. Discussions of Western human rights and democracy are attractive issues for Iranian youth. Reformist betrayed the regime when they were unable or unwilling to prevent this attraction. Why do we have to celebrate Valentines day in Iran? Why do the Iranian youth look like imported Westerners? They are promoting evil and Western fashions. These are painful issues that successful Western strategies have imposed upon our society. We need multifaceted confrontation of these issues. A mere ban or harsh reaction would not be practical and successful. The Iranian youth needs to be informed of true Islamic teachings. We really need a cultural revolution for this. R: What will be the outcome of the nuclear issue? HA: Based on our information, the US would not be satisfied even if we aborted our nuclear program or even if they overthrew the regime itself. America knows that Islamic roots are very strong among people. The US plans to take advantage of the ethnic gaps in Iran and spread it to seven countries, which is what it is seriously pursuing now. Today the Islamic Republic is the biggest barrier for US designs in the Middle East. We should persevere in our resistance. Imam Khomeini was right when he loudly claimed that US can’t do a damn thing in Iran. America knows well that attacking Iran would endanger its interests and severely increase the price of oil. We are able to endanger both, US security and its economic interests anywhere in the world. Saturday, October 08, 2005 An Adventure That Can Backfire Amir Taheri, Arab News: Having secured most key positions in the past few months, the new generation of Iran's Islamic revolutionaries is now invited to prepare for playing "chicken" with the United States. "The Satanic powers want to play chicken with us," says Gen. Muhammad Hijazi, the man in charge of the Islamic army's office of war preparation. "We must show that we are eagles." The idea that the Islamic Republic faces a game of "chicken" against the West was publicized last month by Ali Larijani, the new "security czar" in President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's administration. But the man who first came up with the analysis is Hassan Abbasi who has emerged as Ahmadinejad's chief strategic guru. Abbasi heads the Center for Security Doctrines Research of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (RGC). His friends call him "The Kissinger of Islam", after Henry Kissinger who served as US secretary of state in the 1970s. "To Iran's new ruling elite, Abbasi is the big strategic brain," says a European diplomat in Tehran. "More and more officials quote him in meetings with foreign diplomats." According to Tehran sources, Abbasi is the architect of the so-called "war preparation plan" currently under way in Iran. Last month Abbasi presented an outline of his analysis in a lecture at the Teachers Training Faculty in Karaj, west of Tehran. The lecture merits attention because it offers an insight into the way the new leadership in Tehran approaches issues of international politics. According to Abbasi, the global balance of power is in a state of flux and every nation should fight for a place in a future equilibrium. The Western powers, especially the United States, still wield immense military and economic power that "looks formidable on paper." But they are unable to use that power because their populations have become "risk-averse." "The Western man today has no stomach for a fight," Abbasi says. "This phenomenon is not new: All empires produce this type of man, the self-centered, materialist, and risk-averse man." Abbasi believes that the US intervention in Iraq, which involved "slightly higher risks" than the invasion of Afghanistan, was the very last of its kind. And even then, the US went into Iraq because of President George W Bush's "readiness to do what no other American leader would dare contemplate." According to Abbasi, the US knows that the only power capable of and willing to challenge it across the globe is the Islamic Republic. The reason is that the Islamic Republic not only enjoys "strong backing from its people", but also has the support of millions who are prepared to kill and die for it across the globe. Abbasi claims that the US and its allies have played three games against Iran. The first was a "carrots and sticks" exercise designed to tempt a section of the Tehran leadership away from radical politics while frightening another section into submission. The next game was "good cop, bad cop" and had the more sinister objective of confusing and dividing the Islamic leadership. Finally, and starting just over a year ago, the "satanic powers" played a new game which Abbasi has dubbed "trigger-at-the-ready." In this game they put the metaphoric gun at the Islamic Republic's temple with their finger on the trigger. Abbasi believes that the trigger was pulled, firing only a blank, when the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) passed an anodyne resolution on the Islamic Republic's pursuit of nuclear power last month. "Now that the satanic powers have failed to achieve their goal with all those games they are preparing for a new game," Abbasi says. " This new game is known as the Chicken Strategy in which the two sides move toward each other with speed until one side quits." It is not clear whether Abbasi or other mullas have seen Nicholas Ray's "Rebel Without A Cause". But it was in that film, starring James Dean, that "playing chicken" was introduced to broader audiences. According to Webster dictionary, the phrase refers to "any of various contests in which the participants risk personal safety in order to see which one will give up first." The quitter is designated as "chicken livered." Abbasi and his disciples in the new Islamic elite believe that this is the best time to engage the US in a "game of chicken." "The Western regimes lack popular legitimacy," Abbasi told his audience. "The Western economy is based on shaky foundations that depend on oil. Divisions within the Western camp, the West's economic fragility, and the distrust of the people (in Western countries) toward their governments render their side vulnerable." Abbasi believes that when President Bush says that no option is off the table, implying that force could be used against the Islamic Republic, he is only playing chicken. "The Americans are not ready to send a million men (to defeat the Islamic Republic)," Abbasi said. "Even economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic will fail thanks to opposition from the Western public opinion and the refusal of most countries to implement (them)." Abbasi claims that in a game plan presented to Ahmadinejad, he has concluded that the idea of a major US military attack against Iran is "a bluff." "Our game plan shows that any attempt at imposing an embargo on Iran would push the price of oil to $110 per barrel," Abbasi said. "And if we were to be subjected to military attack the price could top the $400 mark." A brief military clash with the US at this time could do wonders for the Islamic Republic. The regime would be able to crush growing internal opposition in the name of national solidarity. It would also revive the regime's revolutionary credentials. The raid on the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979 gave the new Islamic regime an aura of radicalism that it lacked because a revolution led by the mullas was hard to sell as a progressive, anti-imperialist movement. Abbasi also recalls that Iraq's invasion of Iran in 1980 was "a blessing from God" because it gave the revolutionary regime another chance to prove its resilience." In true Nietzschean form he believes that since a limited war with the US will not kill the Islamic Republic; it is bound to make it stronger. But it is not only the US that Abbasi wants to take on and humiliate. He has described Britain as "the mother of all evils". In his lecture he claimed that the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and the Gulf states were all "children of the same mother: the British Empire." As for France and Germany, they are "countries in terminal decline", according to Abbasi. "Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover," he told his audience. Abbasi's strategy may be in tune with the current macho mood in Tehran. But the new Tehran leadership should think twice before it embarks on a potentially deadly, and totally unnecessary, adventure on the basis of childish assumptions about Iran's power and the West's weakness. This is the same Hassan Abbassi who said: We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization... we must make use of everything we have at hand to strike at this front by means of our suicide operations or by means of our missiles. There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them. With people like him serving as the architect of their so-called "war preparation plan," we must take these threats very seriously. This is a must read. ANY QUESTIONS?
Anyone think these guys are not serious?

THIS is the main enemy, in any hostilities we must ensure that this regime and way of thinking is OBLITERATED. Listen 'F*ck the yanks', since you are in the USA, I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you are referring to the guys with pinstripes, but just in case you mean PEOPLE LIKE MY FAMILY, let me tell you how this is going to go...

The racist and genocidal leaders of a truly breathtakingly thug like, and corrupt state, who have been saying the same thing since 1979 about genocide and racism and the great satan, are not going to relent from their mission.
Neither the USA nor the other object being threatened all the time by these Hojatieh, genocidal loons, will allow that mission to be completed.

Therefore the USA WILL attack Iran, or Israel WILL attack Iran, and either way, the cat's paw of the racists, Hizballah will strike here in the USA and horribly, and when that happens, no two stones will be left standing atop another from the Caspian to the Gulf, and from Iraq to Afghanistan.
There will be no occupation just devastation, and there will be, I promise you, no Mahdi in that wasteland.

all I can tell you is not to fuck with hassan abbasi.

That's no the photo of Abbasi!

Well, you should also remmebr that it was US stratigists who first talked about of destroying Iranian nation and Islam. In fact in one of his speeches Abbasi mentions this before attacking back at the anglo-saxon.

Democracy is flawed, liberalism is a disease and your freedom is an illusion, leave middle east or be doomed in our lands.

That, my fundamentalist friend, is utterly incorrect at best, and a complete lie at worst.

No US strategist has EVER promoted the idea of DESTROYING ISLAM, and whoever told you this, is a LIAR and you shoul quesiton that person and their sources and intentions very closely.

More, Iran in 1979 committed what has been an act of war against americans since the time the Greeks killed the Persian ambassadors.

Iran in EVERY SINGLE LEADER since 1979 has proven to accept racist lies as foreign policy, and genocidal foaming sickness as a viable plan.

My freedom is no illusion sir. Nor is my OBSERVATION that you live in a corrupt racist state, in expectation that from a well will spring a perfect leader after YOUR leaders have provoked armageddon.

Jefferson is quite correct, and your 9th century, absolutist theocracy, interested PURELY in maintaining power for themselves, will in the end find the same fate as the communists.

BTW, I see you are in England, what's the matter, can't reach my site except from IRGC headquarters in Teheran?, EH?

Have a nice day.
