HAMAS+AL Qaeda = Dominance together in Gaza and the West Bank

Western intelligence sources have detected new evidence of collaboration between the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority and Al Qaida.Palestinian operatives of Al Qaida have returned from Afghanistan and Pakistan to the Gaza Strip. Flush with money, these operatives recruit supporters and build an infrastructure in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Al Qaida would probably not form a separate organization in the PA, sources said. They said Al Qaida operatives, directed by the movement's No. 2 figure, Ayman Zawahiri, would become aligned with Hamas and obtain safe haven and freedom of movement.
Ah yes a fun time for all.

So far, Al Qaida-aligned groups have claimed responsibility for attacks and abductions in the Gaza Strip.
Anyone heard a thing? Read a thing? Seen a thing? Why not? Who is getting kidnapped? Not Israelis, or Americans. Abbas' people? Those who are not ready to be bloodthirsty suicide bombers? (that is to say collaborators) Are they consolidating inner power first?

The network in the Gaza Strip helped train Bedouins to bomb Egyptian tourist sites in the Sinai Peninsula since 2004. A similar network in the West Bank could do the same in Jordan.
At this point, most of the Al Qaida operatives have been Hamas members. Like Zawahiri, Hamas has followed the jihad ideology of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, formally banned yet tolerated in Egypt.
