Israel: IDF Not Ready For War

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will not be prepared for major armed conflict for several years, IDF Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi said March 22. Ashkenazi's statement came after months of reviewing the Israeli army's status following the summer 2006 war with Hezbollah.
