Mexican police officers are under investigation by the Attorney General's Office for corruption and suspected links to organized crime, La Jornada reported June 26, citing government sources.

Most of the officers are from Nuevo Leon, Sonora, Baja California, Guerrero, Michoacan and Mexico City
