This surprise, but not, issue has raised it's very ugly head when Vlams Belang which seemed to me to be defending western values (whatever that means IS the issue, BTW) was rapped by a racist, neo nazi claim.

There is no doubt that their heritage looks to be that, and what they are now, in terms of individuals is at best a very serious question. Serious enough that they should, selflessly, if they are innocent and truly concerned, like Thomas Eagleton, step out of the way. BNP is another story and is past contamination as is truly on the other side. I will never pal up with them under any circumstances. What they are defending is not anything I value, not even peripherally.

In Europe we have "nationalists" who are essentially defending ethnic purity, and NOT values. We also have nationalists defending liberal western values, like the Bill of Rights.

Here we have men like Tom Tancredo, valuable honest, and defending SECURE BORDERS, tainted by things like this. Now I just don't buy that Tancredo is for a secure border because he thinks Mexicans not white enough to get across the border. IS THAT the confusion over Vlams Belang? Well we don't have pix of Tancredo with white power symbols in his home, 'paling up' with the CCC repeatedly, and other indicators, such as those we saw with the senator from Mississippi, Mr.Lott that differentiated him from us when the stupid Strom Thurmond birthday party burst over us.

Then comes Mr. Belien today with a somewhat ignorant of american minutiae (that's okay, believe me I'm sure I can't place Belgium politicians in the full spectrum of left to right either) defending himself somewhat and others a bit more forcefully in the racist claim counterclaim, and suddenly comes a money line of a Freudian moment (???) ....

Teachers drop the Holocaust to avoid offending Muslims

Schools are dropping the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, a Governmentbacked study has revealed.

British Muslim leaders meeting with government representatives to discuss ways of combating extremism are calling for the establishment of Islamic law (shari'a) to govern Muslims' family life.

"We told her if you give us religious rights, we will be in a better position to convince [Muslim] young people that they are being treated equally along with other citizens," said Syed Aziz Pasha, secretary general of the Union of Muslim Organizations of the U.K. and Ireland.

Pasha was among some 30 Muslim leaders, described as moderates, who met with Ruth Kelly, the minister responsible for communities, amid raging debate in the country over what to do about the terror threat.

The government is appealing to Muslim figures to work harder to prevent extremist views from taking root in their communities, particularly among young people.

The campaign was accelerated after the July 2005 London bombings, and given new urgency in recent days after police discovered what they said was a conspiracy to blow up U.S.-bound aircraft, killing thousands of air passengers and crew.

As of Tuesday, police were holding 24 suspects, all reported to be Muslims.

ANNAN ACCUSES ISRAEL OF DELIBERATE ATTACK

UNITED NATIONS — In a development that could prove a turning point in Israel’s war to rid its northern border of Hezbollah, the United Nations yesterday suffered casualties in the fighting, and Secretary-General Annan immediately accused the Israeli Defense Force of a “deliberate targeting” of four blue-helmeted U.N. observers.

Military sources said the incident occurred during an air and artillery attack near Khiyam,at the eastern region of southern Lebanon, where the IDF was preparing a large ground assault meant to create a Hezbollah-free buffer zone on the area north of Israel’s border. Four members of the United Nations’s interim force in Lebanon, identified as being from Canada, Austria, China, and Finland, were killed.

“I am shocked and deeply distressed by the apparently deliberate targeting by Israeli Defense Forces of a U.N. observer post in southern Lebanon,” Mr. Annan said yesterday in a late-night statement released in Rome, where he is attending a meeting of top players steering attempts to find solutions in the Lebanon war.

Citing no Israeli motivation for the alleged “deliberate” attack, Mr. Annan called on Israel to “conduct a full investigation.”

Muhammad likes to eat from the leg, someone else may like to eat from the liver, another may like to eat from the head, and another may like to eat from the tongue of the slaughtered animal. People like to eat different kinds of meat. The Jewish woman was told that the Prophet liked to eat the right leg, so she brought one and put poison in it.
After the lamb was slaughtered, skinned, cut, and cooked, it was served to the Prophet Muhammad. When the Prophet Muhammad said "In the name of Allah"... A Muslim must say "In the name of Allah" before eating.
